Menagerie Festive Wrap Printing Workshop for Adults / Sunday 14th of December / 6.30pm-9pm

In this workshop artists/educators Susan Roan and Lorna Gallagher will guide you through a simple design process and show you how to carve a lino printing block. You will then print your design on to fabric which can be used for wrapping gifts in the Furoshiki tradition. Lino cutting and printing are rewarding processes and require no previous experience.

We will take inspiration from winter folk lore as well as various printmakers including Lucienne Day and Maija Isola.

Attendees will leave the session with three printed Furoshiki, your own lino block and the knowledge needed to print more fabric or paper at home. 

We will provide all materials plus tea, mulled wine and festive treats!

£43 per person (includes £1.50 booking fee)
The workshop will take place in a residential home in Scotstoun - address will be confirmed upon booking.
Maximum of 8 participants. Please note that we need a minimum of 6 participants for the workshop to go ahead. Bookings will close 2 weeks in advance to allow time for preparing material.
